CONCEPT

During one month we will live in and intervene an apartment, so that it will change into an alternative exhibition space. The desire to escape from daily routine and the concrete circumstances of the place (like architecture, location and social context) will establish the development of the project. We are looking for the borderline between art and life, fiction and reality. For this we use our own experiences as a base to create an alter ego; the house. It will be a reflection of our identities and of the inhabitants who lived there before.

In this way, the apartment will become an experimental place where the interaction between our ways of working, habits and behaviours will be part of the creative process.

Finally these interventions can be seen as a series of scenes that suggest that something just happened. A special event that took place in the past and now causes an unsolved situation. So to say, a tension that disturbs by proposing a story without determining it, open to the interpretations of the spectator.
